This is a description of what actually happens to information when you use YTmp3.space. It replaces a boilerplate policy that used to sit here and that described a different site — one that ran advertising, set persistent cookies and reserved the right to disclose personal information to advertisers. None of that is true of this site, and a policy that contradicts the pages around it is worse than no policy at all.
The Service is intended for adults over 18, or the age of majority where you live, whichever is greater. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone below that age.
The short version
There is no account, so there is nothing to sign up with and nothing stored against your name. There is no advertising script and no analytics script on this site — you can confirm both by viewing the page source. Nothing about your downloads is kept here. The one thing you should know is that the video link you paste is sent to an outside conversion service, because that service is what builds your file.
What this site collects
No account, no profile
There is no registration, no login and no email field anywhere on this site. No name, address, password or payment detail is ever requested.
No download history
What you convert is not recorded against you. There is no history page, because there is nothing to show on one.
No analytics, no advertising
The site loads no Google Analytics, no tag manager, no advertising network and no tracking pixel. This is unusual enough to be worth stating plainly, and it is verifiable: open the page source and search for a script tag.
Server logs
Like any website, the server that serves these pages records ordinary request information — IP address, time, the page requested, browser type. That is standard web-server behaviour, kept for security and troubleshooting, and it is not linked to any identity because there is no account to link it to.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own.
Where your link goes, and why
The file you download is not produced on this site. When you choose a format, the YouTube URL is sent to an external conversion service, which fetches the streams from YouTube, prepares the file and returns a download link. That is the only way this site works, and it is the most important thing on this page.
What that service records about the request is governed by its own privacy policy, not by this one. We do not send it anything about you — no identifier, no email, nothing that could not be worked out from the request itself — but we also cannot make promises on its behalf.
Separately, when you type in the search box, what you type is sent to Google's public search-suggestion service. That is what produces the dropdown of suggestions under the box. If you would rather that did not happen, paste a full YouTube URL instead of typing a search term.
What is never done
Your information is not sold. It is not shared with advertisers, data brokers or marketing partners, and there is no advertising on this site for it to be shared with. No profile is built about you. No newsletter list exists, because no email address is collected.
Legal disclosures
We may release information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of the site, its users or others. Given that there is no account and no download history, what could be produced in such a case is limited to ordinary server logs.
Security, honestly stated
Every request runs over HTTPS. Beyond that, transmitting anything over the internet is never completely secure, and it would be wrong to claim otherwise. Because this site holds no accounts, no payment details and no personal records, there is very little here for anyone to obtain.
Questions or corrections
If anything on this page does not match what you observe on the site, that is worth telling us — the point of rewriting this policy was to make it match reality. Write to
